I thought I would give myself a break from the bacon and egg breakfasts I've been preparing for myself the past few days and create a healthy smoothie. Spinach is packed with iron and the vitamin C in the peaches helps its absorption. Iron is especially important in the 2nd and 3rd trimester of pregnancy.
Recipe:
1c spinach
1 banana
1 c frozen peaches
2 tbsp plain greek yogurt
1 tbsp honey
8 oz vanilla soymilk
Blend together until smooth. You can't even taste the spinach! Yum.
